Volvo China Junior Match Play Championship Moves South to Lion Lake CC


2012 Volvo China Junior Match Play Championship  will be held from 2nd - 5th October over the Moon Course at Lion Lake Country Club in Qingyuan, near Guangzhou. The club is managed by Troon Golf, one of the world's leading golf club operators. It will be the first time that the prestigious event has moved south. Designed by top US golf course architect, Rick Jacobson, the Moon Course is unique for its red rock formations and has been the venue for this year's Aaron Baddley World Junior Championship.

Competitors will have the special experience of staying, as guests of the championship, at the the stunning Sheraton Lion Lake Resort close by the golf course. With its beautiful Arabian style architecture and lakeside setting, it has already been awarded the title of China's best theme hotel this year.

As in previous years, the Group A boy’s champion will qualify to play in the 2013 Volvo China Open.
